The mobile split function within the mobile data collection solution for MS Dynamics NAV and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central makes it possible during warehouse receipt for the posting for the item to be put away to be divided into multiple stock records. The split functions available in the WMS for Navision allow you to split up partial quantities and batches on the spot without additional recalculation. It also means the split does not require an interim posting, nor individual postings for partial quantities and batches, in Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Business Central. The split function for Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central can be used in the MS Dynamics Warehouse Receipt and MS Dynamics Production Put function modules of the L-mobile warehouse management software. The item division is carried out by means of a split function that prepares the posting of individual stock records based on partial quantity and number input. A variety of modes are available in Navision and Business Central for fast entry of information, and make it possible to automatically split multiple stock records into one warehouse receipt posting or production report.
In addition to the fast entry of different partial quantities, batches or minimum storage life data for the same order item in Navision, when partial quantities are added manually each packing unit as well as the related batch can also be recorded individually in MS Dynamics NAV and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. This particularly comes in handy when a delivery contains multiple packing units with different batches; the split function makes it possible for you to easily and quickly record each packing unit as well as the related batch. In addition, the split function provided in the warehouse management system for MS Dynamics NAV and Business Central makes it possible to generate the total quantity for each order item, provided that the quantity and number of pieces for each packing unit was previously defined. Finally, the mobile split function available in the WMS for MS Dynamics NAV/Business Central makes it possible for you to calculate quantity for each packing unit and/or batch. This process automatically calculates the distribution of quantities over available packing units.
