Getting an overview of warehouse stock

There are various ways to access stock information, such as by entering or scanning the item number, variant, sub-stock number, storage bin, or storage location. If you use a storage bin or storage location to access the overview, for example, it will show all warehouse stock that is stored there. The list that is displayed can also be filtered, for example, by item number, batch number, or item description.

However, if you choose to use an item number to access the overview, it will show the corresponding stock records across storage bins and storage locations. This is also the case when entering a batch number.

“Stock Info” provides all the necessary details about the actual stock in the warehouse, including the quantity, storage bin, storage location, batch and serial number, and status of the item. Color coding shows at a glance whether warehouse stock is available, blocked, reserved, or has not been QA-checked. For example, this prevents reserved stock from being used by mistake and minimizes errors in the movement of goods. It is also possible to initiate label printing from the “Stock Info” module. Images of the items can also be displayed as additional visual support.

One especially practical feature is that you can determine or check warehouse stock from other modules. “Stock Info” can thus be integrated with various other modules. For example, if you want to find out more about an item or its storage bin during goods receipt posting, this can be easily done without interrupting the task at hand.
