Replenishment plays a very important role in logistics. Intelligent replenishment is crucial in order to ensure a steady flow of goods. Our warehouse management system, L-mobile WMS, enables you to request replenishment using digital devices. The mobile warehouse management solution allows you to quickly and easily report parts that are running low—wherever you are. At the same time, the warehouse management system supports you with a digital replenishment list for processing replenishment requests.

Die “Replenishment” function of the L-mobile WMS barcode scanner solution ensures the flexible control of replenishment in your logistics. The WMS is accessed on your mobile device and allows required material to be reported in real time and processed accordingly. In the background, stock records are transferred from a stock storage bin to the desired target storage bin. A replenishment request can be made from any location, such as production. The movement of goods is posted quickly and easily via the L-mobile WMS and reported back to your ERP system. This eliminates additional manual tasks, such as posting paper documents, and saves time in your replenishment process.

Request replenishment flexibly by scanning

If something is currently required, the “Request Replenishment” function is opened in L-mobile WMS. First, the storage bin or item number for which the replenishment is required is scanned. Employees now have instant transparency regarding the available quantity of the desired item and the storage bin it is located in. Next, the desired target storage bin is scanned and the quantity entered—clicking “Post” adds the item to the digital replenishment list.

This process can now be repeated as often as necessary until all the required goods have been requested. They are clearly displayed in the replenishment list. Confirming the list completes the replenishment request—and you’re done!

To make items available and process the replenishment request, select the 1-step replenishment function on your mobile scanner app. This brings up a list of everything that is required including the storage bin, item number, and replenishment quantity. After selecting the item you want to provide, all the necessary information to do this is shown, including the suggested storage bin to pick from.

By scanning the source storage bin and entering the quantity taken, the process can be completed and posted. The movement of goods is now automatically reported back to the ERP system. This allows you to process all requests in just a few steps and reduces the amount of manual effort required in logistics.
