Each order is clearly assigned to one or, in the case of larger order volumes, several containers. The color coding on the mobile device helps employees assign the items correctly. Ortlieb Sportartikel GmbH also recognized the advantages of multi-order picking. By switching to multi-order picking in combination with the ERP system, up to eight orders can now be combined and picked at the same time. For this purpose, the orders are color-coded in the picklist of the mobile scanner solution. The picked items are assigned to the respective order using appropriately colored containers on the picking trolley. After paperless picking, the items are packed and shipment is processed with L-mobile warehouse. With just one scan, the delivery note and invoice are created, the withdrawal posting is processed, and the shipping label is printed. The result for Ortlieb GmbH?
