Container Management | A Function in the L-mobile warehouse ready for MS Dynamics Extension Module

The mobile data collection container management for MS Dynamics NAV/Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central provides stock management of items with or without item tracking at container level. Navision container tracking can be controlled both on the mobile interface of the warehouse management system (WMS) and within MS Dynamics NAV or Business Central.

A container is a load carrier that can hold one or more items. In combination with the WMS extension module Load Carrier Relocation for NAV and Business Central, complete load carriers and their contents can be transferred within the container management for MS Dynamics NAV/Business Central. In this case, the mobile data collection interface to MS Dynamics NAV and Business Central treats the container as a data bracket. This means that with mobile container management for Navision, the items in a container do not have to be entered individually, but only the container ID. In order to enable mobile item entry at container level, mobile data collection for MS Dynamics NAV/Business Central makes changes to existing standard Navision objects and new Navision objects. You can find these changes in the L-mobile system requirements. It is available as an extension for Business Central.
