You can manage the WMS via a desktop PC, where you also specify the settings for the mobile functions. While you digitally post and efficiently process stock movements on your mobile devices, you can flexibly adjust settings at any time via desktop management.

Your WMS desktop application is where you’ll find everything related to user management. Here you can specify user names, passwords, keyboard settings, and the order of mobile applications. You can also define roles and assign them to specific users. For example, you can define specific interfaces for goods receipt or production. Language settings can also be configured in this area.

Furthermore, you can configure your mobile functions in the WMS management area. Here you can decide whether you want to display decimal places, sub-stock, batch and serial numbers, expiration and FIFO data, and much more. Some fields can also be automatically pre-filled to streamline mobile processes as much as possible.

The WMS also offers numerous settings for warehouse management. If necessary, item master data, item groups, storage locations, and storage bins can be maintained here if your ERP system does not offer these functions. When an item is created, weights and dimensions can also be entered, for example to assign items directly to specific storage bins. You can set quantities here for the minimum stock level as well as for replenishment. Another practical feature is the management of storage classes such as boxes, small load carriers, pallets, paternosters, or Kardex carousels. Specify the maximum weight and dimensions to ensure that your items are always stored appropriately.
