The Storage Control Center for Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Business Central enables the assignment of stock removal lists for production and dispatch to one or more warehouse workers.
Splitting an order among several warehouse personnel with the NAV warehouse control center within mobile data collection for MS Dynamics NAV or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central always makes sense when goods are located in different areas and must be gathered together as quickly as possible.
Likewise, an item-related assignment can also be made via the warehouse control center in the warehouse management system for MS Dynamics NAV & Business Central. In the extension function of Navision WMS, it can also be predefined whether each warehouse worker can also access a general pool of orders within the Storage Control Center for MS Dynamics NAV/Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or whether every order must be assigned manually in the warehouse management software.
In addition, each order can be assigned a priority. The warehouse workers receive their assigned orders in the work queue via the mobile control station in the mobile data collection interface to MS Dynamics NAV or Business Central and work through them in the specified order, taking prioritization into account. Changes to the prioritization of orders can also be made at any time in the NAV/Business Central Storage Control Center. Warehouse personnel also see this change in real time in their work queue.
Particularly in the case of time-critical orders, the warehouse control center for Navision is used for dynamic order planning. The real-time information on the status of each individual order, as well as the percentage display of process monitoring in the NAV warehouse control center, not only facilitates the monitoring of all warehouse processes from goods receipt to goods issue, but the function of the WMS for Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Business Central also increases the process reliability for a seamless flow of goods.
