Production data collection (“Shopfloor Data Collection”) for MS Dynamics NAV and Business Central begins with the release of manufacturing orders—either directly in Navision or Business Central or using production planning software. Once released, the orders are available in the production data collection software. Production data is recorded digitally via production data collection terminals and the status of the respective operation is displayed. The various statuses, such as “setup”, “start”, “interrupt”, “malfunction”, “continue”, or “end”, are color-coded to provide a transparent overview.
All recorded production data—from times and quantities to status reports—is reported back to your Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or NAV ERP system in real time. This means that the latest information is always available to you in real time. For additional transparency, the module has a time tracking feature that records the attendance and absence status of employees using a unique identification number. In addition, “Shopfloor Data Collection” can be flexibly extended with additional modules to optimally meet your individual requirements.
