To do this, the corresponding components are canceled and a corresponding return posting is made to a new target storage bin. This is instantly reported back to the MS Dynamics NAV (Navision) or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP system in real time.

In addition, the function gives you the option of creating a complete retirement posting that refers to the withdrawal posting and specifies the source storage bin. When the cancellation order is confirmed in the WMS, the corrected information regarding the production order is seamlessly reported back to Microsoft Dynamics, with the changed line items updated in the production order and in the warehouse stock.

There are various reasons why material may need to be canceled. For example, if too much material has been picked, the wrong material has been withdrawn, or a customer’s requirements have changed.
