The Return Production module in our mobile data collection solution for MS Dynamics NAV and Microsoft Dynamics 365 makes it possible for you to selectively cancel any material withdrawals you’ve already posted for a manufacturing order. Components that were already entered as consumption in MS Dynamics NAV/Business Central are canceled, and a corresponding reverse posting of the desired return quantity is made directly to a new target storage bin.

Confirmation of the not required components is sent instantly and in real time to Navision/Business Central via the mobile data collection interface.

In order to counteract the large administrative effort required for manual cancellation within a production order, the Return Production module of the mobile warehouse management system for NAV and Business Central makes it possible for you to cancel the material consumption posted for a production order.

The mobile data collection solution lets you quickly and easily remove material that is not required or that was mistakenly withdrawn from the manufacturing order or assembly order. In addition, the function gives you the option of creating a complete retirement posting that refers to the withdrawal posting and specifies the source storage bin. When the cancellation order is confirmed in the WMS, the corrected information on the production order is seamlessly reported back to Microsoft Dynamics, with the changed line items updated in the production order and in the warehouse stock.
