The Mobile Stock Control module for MS Dynamics NAV and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central enables blocking of items, batches, and storage locations/storage bins as well as a combination of all these. For example, it is possible to block a specific item or batch in a storage bin for specific functions within the application. In this way, it can be defined that stock is blocked for order picking, for example, but can still be transferred within the warehouse. The function in the warehouse management system for Navision and Business Central also supports the blocking of specific items in a batch. This in turn means that the corresponding batch can still be moved but cannot be shipped, for example. In this way, WMS for NAV and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central allows the greatest possible flexibility in the control of blocked goods.
The mobile blocking module for Navision ensures that goods are not moved to unauthorized bins. In the same way, the mobile blocking function within MS Dynamics NAV or Business Central mobile data collection prevents blocked items from being incorrectly used or dispatched.
QA within the mobile blocking module for Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Business Central takes effect whenever an additional control instance is required for goods with stricter requirements. The “reserved” and “expired” labels prevent a customer order from being accidentally shipped to another customer, or items of poor quality or with an expired best before date from being put into circulation. With mobile blocking for Navision within WMS for MS Dynamics NAV and Business Central, you thus have increased security with regard to the quality of your goods and protect yourself from expensive recalls or contractual penalties.
