Partial quantities and batches can thus be split up right there on the spot without additional recalculation.There is no need for interim posting when splitting in Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) and Business Central, nor is it necessary to make individual postings for partial quantities or batches.
The “Split” function for Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Business Central can be used in the MS Dynamics “Warehouse Receipt” and MS Dynamics “Production Put” function modules of the L-mobile warehouse management software. The item division is carried out by means of a “Split” function that prepares the posting of individual stock records based on partial quantity and number input. A variety of modes are available in Navision and Business Central for fast entry of information, and make it possible to automatically split multiple stock records into one warehouse receipt posting or production report.
In addition to the fast entry of different partial quantities, batches or minimum storage life data for the same order item in Navision, when partial quantities are added manually each packing unit as well as the related batch can also be recorded individually in MS Dynamics NAV and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. This particularly comes in handy when a delivery contains multiple packing units with different batches; the “Split” function makes it possible for you to easily and quickly record each packing unit as well as the related batch. The “Split” function also makes it possible to generate the total quantity for each order item, provided that the quantity and the quantity per packing unit have been predefined. Finally, by using the mobile “Split” function in the warehouse management system for MS Dynamics NAV (Navision) and Business Central, you can calculate the quantity for each packing unit and/or batch. This process automatically calculates the distribution of quantities over available packing units.
