The WMS NAV and warehouse management solution for Business Central make it possible to carry out batch storage processes easily, quickly and reliably. Identifying the item and storage bin is as easy as scanning a barcode with a handheld scanner. The batch stock transfer carried out from any storage bin to another is then instantly and seamlessly posted in Navision and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. In the process, MS Dynamics NAV and Business Central automatically recognize whether the batch storage process involves a batch stock transfer carried out from one storage bin to another, or whether it was a batch stock transfer carried out from one storage location to another, and selects the proper journal in Navision/Business Central, in the background and completely automatically.

Just as in a basic stock transfer, batch stock transfer in the WMS for NAV and Business Central can be carried out for individual items or for entire storage bins, series and batches.

Batch Storage in Microsoft Dynamics NAV & Business Central

Batch stock transfer cannot be represented in Navision or in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. This means that all movements of goods must be posted separately in MS Dynamics NAV and Business Central. This means that warehouse personnel always need to write down which items were transferred from a given storage bin to a defined target storage bin.

Then in the subsequent manual processing, one line must be entered in the reclassification journal for each of those entries.
