Dans tous les processus de production o\u00f9 un pr\u00e9l\u00e8vement manuel de mat\u00e9riel a lieu et o\u00f9 une grande vitesse de pr\u00e9l\u00e8vement est requise, les signaux lumineux optiques sur les lieux de stockage ou les supports de manutention contribuent \u00e0 un flux de mat\u00e9riaux rapide et sans erreur. Ce processus au sein du flux de mat\u00e9riaux peut se faire dans deux directions. Pick-by-Light est le processus qui prend en charge le flux de mat\u00e9riaux relatif au pr\u00e9l\u00e8vement d&#8217;articles destin\u00e9s \u00e0 une commande de production ou de client, tandis que le principe Pick-to-Light permet la r\u00e9partition guid\u00e9e par des voyants lumineux des quantit\u00e9s de pi\u00e8ces vers les diff\u00e9rents lieux de stockage.
