Pirlo was founded over 100 years ago in Austria as a small production company for tin cans. Today, the company is known nationally and internationally for manufacturing innovative metal and plastic packaging. The Pirlo Group is the largest manufacturer of metal packaging in Austria and among the top 3 in Europe.

L-mobile production and machine data collection in use
Pirlo’s goal was to digitalize workflows in production and logistics and thus achieve data transparency in the Proalpha ERP system. Digital production and machine data collection was a particular area of focus. Previously, production data was documented on paper and then posted to the ERP system. As a result, this involved a significant amount of effort for downstream activities.
